Terms of service
1. General Information
The owner of the online store www.tarken.eu (hereinafter referred to as the "Online Store") is OÜ TETNET, registry code 16731585.
2. Applicability and Validity
2.1. These Terms of Service govern all purchases made through the Online Store.
2.2. Product prices are displayed alongside the items in the Online Store and are stated in Euros (€). Shipping fees, which vary depending on the purchaser’s location and chosen shipping method, are added to the total price at checkout.
2.3. Product descriptions and details are provided next to each product on the Online Store.
3. Placing an Order
3.1. To place an order, add the desired products to your shopping basket, complete all required fields, and select your preferred shipping method. The total price, including shipping, will be displayed at checkout.
3.2. Orders can be securely paid using the payment methods provided by Maksekeskus AS.
Note: If using a bank link, confirm your order and click the “Return to merchant” button to finalize the transaction.
3.3. Payment-related personal data will be transferred to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus AS, to facilitate the transaction.
3.4. The contract of sale takes effect once the payment is successfully transferred to the Online Store’s bank account.
3.5. If the Online Store is unable to fulfill the order due to stock shortages or other reasons, the purchaser will be notified promptly, and the payment (including shipping fees) will be refunded within 14 days of the notification.
4. Shipment
4.1. The Online Store ships goods using parcel machines and courier services provided by Omniva or DPD.
4.2. Shipping costs are borne by the purchaser and are displayed at checkout based on the chosen shipping method.
4.3 Shipment is being processed within 3 working days.
5. Right of Withdrawal
5.1. Purchasers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving their order.
5.2. The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities.
5.3. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, with tags attached, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
5.4. To initiate a return, the purchaser must submit a withdrawal declaration via email to info@tetnet.eu within 14 days of receiving the goods.
5.5. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the product does not comply with the order (e.g., wrong or defective item).
5.6. Returned goods must be sent back within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal declaration. Proof of dispatch within this period may also be provided.
5.7. Upon receipt of the returned goods, the Online Store will refund the payment (including shipping fees) within 14 days. Refunds may be withheld until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.
5.8. If the purchaser chooses a more expensive shipping method than the standard option offered, the Online Store is not obliged to reimburse the additional cost.
5.9. The Online Store reserves the right to cancel the sale and request the return of goods if there is a pricing error significantly lower than the market value of the product.
6. Defective Goods
6.1. The Online Store is responsible for defects or non-conformity of goods existing at the time of delivery and arising within one year of delivery. Defects appearing within the first year are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise by the Online Store.
6.2. Purchasers must report defects within two months of their discovery by emailing info@tetnet.eu
6.3. The Online Store is not liable for defects caused after the goods are delivered.
6.4. For defective goods, the Online Store will repair or replace the item. If this is not possible, the purchaser will receive a full refund, including associated costs.
6.5. Complaints are addressed in writing or via a reproducible format within 15 days.
7. Direct Marketing and Personal Data Processing
7.1. Personal data provided by the purchaser is used solely for processing orders and delivering goods. Data necessary for delivery is shared with the transport service provider.
7.2. Newsletters and promotional offers are sent only with the purchaser’s consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by emailing the Online Store or following the unsubscribe link in promotional emails.
8. Settlement of Disputes
8.1. Purchasers can direct complaints to the Online Store via email or phone.
8.2. If disputes cannot be resolved amicably, purchasers may refer the issue to the Consumer Dispute Committee. Resolving disputes through the committee is free for purchasers.
8.3. Alternatively, purchasers may use the European Union Online Dispute Resolution platform for cross-border disputes.
