Handle compatibility
Requirements for window handle
Turn the handle to horizontal position and rotate handle screw cover until the screws become visible. Window handle needs to be fastened with 2 bolts with 43 mm distance form each other. The window spindle shall be a rectangular bar with a side length of 7 mm. Tarken is suitable with spindle lengths between 25 - 40 mm.
Use caliper or ruler to confirm those measurements.

Window type
Tarken is designed for use with tilt-and-turn windows, where tilt function is achieved by rotating handle 180 degrees from closed position.
It is strongly recommended to use Tarken on windows that have tilt function as a last position when rotating handle and the handle is positioned on the right or left side of the window.

Window compatibility
Clearances
Tarken is suitable for most PVC and wooden windows. Verify suitability by measuring distance from the center of the handle to the edge of the window. Maximum allowed distance is 35 mm.
Window leaf must overlap the frame, leaving 15 - 25 mm step.
There must be at least 20 mm flat, free space for sticking the anchor.
Recommended width for window is up to 1 meter and height up to 1.5 meters. Window handle must rotate with no significant resistance.
Installing Tarken
Installation manual
1. Turn the handle to horizontal position and rotate handle screw cover until the screws become visible.
2. Remove screws and handle.
3. Open Tarken screw cover and install the Tarken device - insert previously removed screws into the Tarken’s screw holes.
4. Attach the mounting anchor to the device hook, remove the protective film from the anchor sticker.
5. Close the window and push the anchor firmly against the cleaned window frame (let it cure for at least 15 minutes).
