Tarken started from a simple idea: sleeping with fresh air is great, but getting out of bed to close the window when the room gets cold is not. We looked for a clean and practical way to automate a normal tilt-and-turn window without replacing the window, drilling holes, or installing a large chain actuator. When we could not find the solution we wanted, we started building it ourselves from zero.

The development process has taken us through hundreds of concepts, tests, and design iterations. We built many prototypes, refined the mechanics, electronics, software, and installation method, and kept improving the product until it became a practical solution for everyday use.

From the beginning, we wanted Tarken to do more than simply open and close a window. That is why we added CO₂, temperature, and humidity monitoring, allowing the device to help you understand when the room actually needs ventilation instead of relying on guesswork. We also wanted Tarken to support many different use cases, so each user can tailor the product to their own needs, whether through remote control, schedules, automations, or smart home integrations. Combined with Matter over Thread compatibility, Tarken helps maintain a healthier and more comfortable indoor climate with less manual effort.
